first, peace out to destruktiv, who showed me how to do that.there`s a program by him on the way to do this way easier.but till then,do it this way:
download or use a OS file you own.put this on your computer and open the folder.you`ll see there`s a .sys and .exe file in it.
I used the XVI32 Hexeditor to open the .exe file( http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/f ... m#download ).
with this program it works like that:
go to FILE in the left upper corner and than to OPEN.look where your MPC 2000 OS is located.choose the .exe file and open it.
hit SEARCH and in the menu FIND.now you got two possibilities TEXT STRING OR HEX STRING.choose TEXT STRING and put MPC2000 Ver. in the search form.
the program will guide you to the place where the loadup screen content is shown.mine was MPC2000 Ver. 1.72.
I started to put my text in where the old text was.sometimes it didn`t work when the space for the text was expanded.so keep the number.
go back to FILE in the left upper corner and choose SAVE.put the changed file with the .sys file in a new folder wich is named like the original folder and load that onto a zip,floppy,card.....
start your MPC 2000, and hopefully there it is.....
