MPC will NOT turn ON

Hey... I jus ordered and installed the MPC compact flash kit from mpc stuff... and Now my mpc Will not power on. I tried pluggin it in diffrent wall jacks... but nothing... what could be the issue? all i did was follow the simple install instructions... why is it not powering on... ? Help?

Maybe its the POWER supply... How can I fix this... to get it working again.... I press the power button, and nothing happens.. please help i am about to get a stroke... cause i jus bought this a couple days ago... only had it for a week... and now i feel like i jus lost all my money... pls help!

try geting a new mpc, that might get you started just my two cents though

Check the fuse on the power supply to see if it's blown.

Check the fuse first. That's a cheap fix.

Cheap the cable position on the CF reader. If it's turned the wrong way sometimes the MPC won't turn on at all.

It's most likely something simple.

Yea.. it was the fuse... blown like no other... but now i put in the CF in the reader, and its not picking up on the mpc... i tried a transcend brand, that i formatted on the mpc 1000, and a scandisk that was 256, that was not formatted, cause my boy got beats on it... what might be the problem... atapi is not showing at all....
