I just bought an MPC 2000xl off of craigslist and the sample cd's that he included all have individual samples in .s1 (s1000?) format and I can load them individually just fine, but do I really have to load all the samples one-by-one every time? Is there another type CD I can buy that will let me load entire drum kits? Is there a way to load an entire volume of files in one fell swoop?
the cd's i have are
Electro Shock – Uberschall CD 2
Creative Inspiration – Essential Sound Library – Microwave
Creative Inspiration – Chart Excess Library – FM Basses
Uberschall – Techno Identity 1
Uberschall – Techno Identity 2
Eastwest Prosamples – Hib Hop & RnB 2 – from Black Butta 2
Dance Mega Synth – 1500 Dance Synths Audio CD
Dance Mega Synth – 1500 Dance Synths Akai
Dance Mega Drums 2 – 4000 Drumsamples, Kits, Percussion Audio CD
Dance Mega Drums 2 – 4000 Drumsamples, Kits, Percussion Akai
Production Effects XX-Large
Trance Fusion – Akai
Akai CD-Rom Sound Library
i don't know if that helps.
