okay, so i have a MPC2kXL, and i'd like to put that into reason.
i've looked at MANY videos and every one has a midi interface.
i am going to buy a MOTU MIDI Timepiece.
so in the end i'd like to hook the output of the MPC2kXL into one of the ins of the MOTU.
i also have a Roland XP10 which i'd put the MIDIOUT to one of the ins of the MOTU.
then theoretically i'd go USB into my computer... then go into reason, and if i set it up correctly it'll work?
(did i get this right?)
and then after i've made it the beat on my MPC (i'll be using reason and the xp10 as sound modules and recording directly into the mpc's sequencer) i'd like to move it into protools. i saw the nasir vid on youtube... he also has a midi interface..
if i set up protools LE to read the MOTU i can jsut directly record my pre-recorded tracks into protools...
am i correct with this?
