Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hi!

Simple; My MPC 2000xl pads 1, 3, 4 and 13 aren't working. Other pads are okay.. Is there any change that pads are only off or something? Or are they just broken.. I buyed MPC while ago, but former owner sayed that he fixes all problems so that isn't a problem for me. I am just finding easiest way.. What I should do? Thanks everybody for help!

look at this webpage:

http://mpc2000xl.com/secret.htm

it will tell you how to get to the pad-testing screen. it is called pad check... anyways do that and see if all your pads respond. then if there is still a problem, you might have to replace the pad sensors.

Not an answer. New pad sensors needed? Where? Price? Thank you so much!

Did you try checking those bad pads on all 4 banks?

Just open it up and check to see if the pad's ribbon cable is inserterted into the conector all the way.

I've got the same issue but with the mpc 2000. I've tried the shift f5 + shift f1 and it does not bring you to the the velocity testin screen as it does with the 2000xl. Anyone have ideas?

That is the first step to finding the answer you need....Why wouldnt you try it before you ask him for a price? Test your pads before you claim them to be broken!

Long time fam.....but i'm back and i have a problem with my pads also.I think i probably just need to replace the sensor itself and i found it on vstservices for $68.I think that's the fix in this situation.

Peace.
