Is that a problem? I just save the midi sequence and the program?

Will that give me problems once i want to upload them to a software for tweaking and additions I might want to add?

APS=all programs and sequences.

you should always save the aps. file or else u will not save any of your samples, programs or sequences.

and if ur using the 2k(xl) u cannot upload ur work to software, u must record it to sofftware.

^^^wrong...

.APS= All Programs and Sounds
.ALL= All Sequences & Songs

You can save everything independently, .snd's, .mid, .pgm etc...If you save both .APS & .ALL you will cover everything
oaded into the mpc at any given time...

so instead of uploading my work on software, I'll have to let it play out and record it onto the software?

so far this is how i'm saving my shit and it plays back fine on the mpc...just wanted to make sure i'm not making heat for nothing...lol...shit would be wack if i cant get it out of the mpc..lol

As long as you save it with the sounds, programs and sequences, you should be okay. Either way, though, you have to record the audio from the mpc into another medium (ie:DAW).

i have the 2k non xl

i have always just saved the program, and the sequences.

never had a problem

as far as getting it into a computer, which i dont do often, i would just record the audio into whatever program
