mpc 2000 novice in need of help.

I have the MPC 2000 with standard floppy drive unexpanded...and i am just horribly frustrated on how to connect this sweet machine to my turntable,receiver, and dj mixer. Anybody help on this novice question of mine..?

Put vinyl on turntable, hook turntable up to mixer/preamp,
play vinyl, have the outs of the mixer going into the INs on the MPC
Shift Sample.
