ok ok ok watch this, from binger0 informative newbie stuff , bbsound post and
research i did.this is the config i worked out. please correct me if i am wrong here or is there a silpler way, (note i have no hardware modules
)
keyboard midi out into mpc midi 1
mpc midi A into usb midi interface for software sequencer.
mpc controls sequencer and and note input. ALL MIDI sequences done on MPC.
MPC connected to prtools via MTC.
i am going to buy the 8 out card, so all sample loops and drum hits will come from the mpc itself straight into my mixer.
connected via rewire is reason to cubase and cubase to pro-tools 6.1
going for the digi 001, second hand price same as M-audio 1010 soundcard.
with rewire i can set pro-tools to record"audio"straight through from the virtual instrumets in reason and cubase that is being controlled by the mpc.
now having all that beatifully laid audio of virtual synth modules. i then record mpc audio into protools to accompany the existing tracks. from here i edit, comp etc....
then from there i can run "all audio" from tools into hardware mixer and all outboard effects.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
damn !!!!
