troubles saving samples to floppy

i might be doing this wrong. i sample and chop then when i want to save my samples i go to disk, save all songs and sequences. then i turn off the mpc2000 and when i want to load my samples.. they are not there.

any suggestions on what im doing wrong

Which answer do you prefer?

A: RTFM or in the words of Lampdog: pg 160-163 (oh thats for the german manual)
B: Buy Cardreader (although this will not solve your actual problem but people here will tell you that you'll need this). Oh when you want to buy, buy at SCSI for samplers
C: Search the forum.

you need to save an 'all programs' file w/samples also. your only saving the sequence data, no samples.

sample what you did before, how you did before and assign to the same pads as before, then load up the all sequence file you saved and you have your beat back..

if you were using a new mpc i would not have helped you.

peterpiper, you have all the right options listed, although I might move "buy cardreader at SfS" up to #1.
