I got a 8 sec long sample,,and i want to start the beat with the sample,,and i want the sample to start normal then in the middle (after 4 sec) i want som kind of filter to slowly kick in, i tried "note variation" but it doesnt after i pressed the pad.How do i do this?

is it possible somehow to make a long sample change in the middle or something

chop it and save it as 2 samples on seperate pads

maybe have the filter envelope kick in at that point?

Not sure if the 2000 has adsr or just ad.
