I honestly think you need to chill and read the manual from page 1. It's supposed to be a pleasure investing in gear and then unlocking its various functions by yourself. It's really not that hard...

i have asked questions, but nothing is really helping, the manuel isnt either.

yeah its frustrating at some point but it will pay off. i went thru what you are going thru. just sit down and know that you will have to invest some time for a couple days in just tinkering around. every beat you make you will learn some more tricks.

like i've had mine for months now and i still havent messed with half the sh(t not even the step/edit screen my boy keeps telling me about.

It shouldnt take long at all. Too many cats want to both learn the machine and bang out beats on day one. You need to take it one step at a time. Read the manual and while reading try out what it is showing you. In a few hours you will learn a few things and eventually it will click. Trust me, being in a rush will have you selling the MPC.

Man its taken all of us time to learn what we know and these things, u just gotta have patience, if u got something u need banged out right away do it on the gear u already have and know (if any) until u get good on the mp, in the meantime search the forums, look at youtube videos and sit and read and work with the manual, dont just skim it and hope u find the answer to your question, actually reading it will lead you to answers to problems thatll come up in the future, and help u learn the machine, u cant learn it all in a couple weeks.
