mpc 2000xl as midi controller in pro tools?? Anyone know

Hey i just linked up pro tools mbox2....kinda gettn a handle on it after a couple days...But...there is one thing i would like to do....

In pro tools there are virtual instruments that i would like to use howver at this time i dont have a midi keyboard...Can any one tell me a step my step on how i would use my 2000xl as my controller (midi) with these virtual instruments...

Yo man I have mine setup with pro tools. You need an interface. I'm assuming you have one if your running pro tools. Midi cable from MPC to the Interface is all you need. Then set your MPC to MIDI and you can bang away on the pads with any virtual instrument in PT.
