my zip disk got corrupted with all my sounds on it, if you record to and erase quite a few times, it seems that when it is placed inthe computer, it comes up saying "the disk is not formatted, do you want to format it now?" just make sure you have them, your sounds backed up!!!!!!!

In the computer or MPC ? I've been using a zip for years and haven't encountered any problems (knock on wood) .

on the pc, although bear in mind i do erase and write quite often on them, so every few months a back up all info, format, then reinstall my sounds!!

I format my Zip250 disks on the computer using FAT not FAT32. Never had a problem reading/saving on the MPC with them.
