okay basically i have 2kxl internal zip no external cd but my cpu is a lap top internal cd no zip my question is should i just get a external cd drive and save all the music/sounds to cd,i never really used zip drive b4 are they overwrittable?so if saving to cd is bad idea then i will have to get a external zip for cpu right, and also get a external cd drive for the mpc?
Sorry for all the Stupid A$$basic questions i am reading the manual but right now i dont even have headphones so just sitting chillen with the 2kxl nothing else.but i will have some money to get these items in like a week.once i hear sound outta the mach.i wont ask this many dumb questions cause i will be lost in the mpc for a couple of months.-Thanks Joey.........

You have to save to the ZIP-drive, the MPC won't work with CDR-drives. ZIP disks are overwrittable, they are (Correct me if I'm wrong ?) basically like floppies, just a little bit bigger in size but have much more room to save your stuff in.

Keep reading the manual, it's your best friend at the moment...
You'll get there.

Peace-

Just cop a external USB Zip drive for your PC. You can get them off ebay for like 30 bones all the time.
