Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

What's the possibilities of connecting the 2000XL to a computer? I know it doesn't have a USB cable but are there any upgrades possible to making the 2000XL compatible?

I simply want to be able to send samples from my computer to the MPC via a lead, a card or something else?

Thanks.

multiple ways, duke.

best way if u got the doe is to get an audio interface... seach a site like guitarcenter or sweetwater and punch in audio interfaces for a good idea of what i mean.

you can start real cheap right now by using your mic/line input on you tower/ laptop and some free DAW such as reaper ( really great program).

get a Yadapter that goes from 1/4" to and 1/8" jack for this route. you can get parts like this from radioshack, walmart where ever...

now loading samples depends on your method of saving. you can get interfaces for all floppy disk, zips and Cfs

do some research and you'll find it...

In case you are asking about SMDI, where you ship samples via SCSI, the MPC 2000 and MPC2000XL do not support it, sadly. So any moving of samples from computer to MPC must be done by hand, so to speak, using CF cards, zip disk, or worse case scenario, resampling.
