Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

everytime i turn go to turn my mpc on it says theres a floppy error, so i turn it off take out the floppy and when it says to insert i put it in, but then i lose everything that i did the last time i used it. how do i fix this?

floppies suck. they simply are... sh!t.


listen man, go down to your office supplise store or school supply store.. buy a few brand new floppy disks. they are rare these days, but they should still sell maybe 10 packs.

well from what I gather... you need to boot the OS from floppy each time you start the machine.. no?

so probably you should. just see if that helps...


i believe that was why they invented the f-rom upgrade. but that is tough to find and it's expensive.
