hey everyone.
Today, when I booted my 2000 I was shocked when I saw the first lines on my mp screen.
I was wondering if this has something to do with moving the unit into a different enviroment which is a bit lower of temperature and moisture in the air as the lines appeared after moving it.
i had no problems with the screen for almost a year since i bought it.
The screen is still readable - there are two or three lines on it but still it came to my concern that Ill have to get a new screen for it...
I`m moving it back to previous place to see what happenes and if the screen is going to get more lines in there.
I guess that the lcd screen issue might be caused by the moist - corrosion and other things. I also noticed that when I was tapping these pads the lines would dissapear - connection problem?
next step is to dissasembly it and clean the connectors.
Anyone had similar problem - not with the screen itself as it is obvious but with the ribbon on the lcd?
peace. Oskar
