8 0uts & Y cable

I just wanted to know if I were to connect a roland xv 5080 to my mpc thru the 8 outs using a 1/4 y cable, would it come out as a stereo sound or mono? And would i have to connect it with 2 1/4 cables to get a stereo sound?
I do have an akai dps 24, but i would rather play & make the music on the mp and then send it to the dps.

Each individual out is mono.

Use 2 of them, one for left and one for right.

If you sample is stereo then u will get the option of 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 or 7/8.
If you sample is mono then you will get the option of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8.

Hope this helps but do a search, we've covered this in detail several times in the last 2-3 weeks.
