I know XL can't sample it's own output but is there a way u could hit the pad and hear the sample in the record window? Though 2500 has the main out sampling opportunity, u can also resample like I said before - go to record window, choose analog for record in and hit the pad(u need a mixer for winding the sound through it or just change the audio cables so they go from main out to record in).
In XL's record window if u hit a pad, no sound is played. Is there any possible way to do it? I just love the low passed melody sample and the bass that u get out of it... the problem is just that the volume is so low. That's why resampling and normalizing would be the sh*t!
