Mpc2000xl w/internal zip drive

I need help, just purchased a MPc2000xl w/internal zip drive. I turned on the unit, inserted a disk, then pressed load. All it say's is no floppy found and no scsi device found. Does anyone have any suggestions? anything would be appreciated

if its internal then it wont be SCSI. go to select the device and use the cursor to find what should say ATAPI. when you switch it to ATAPI then the led on your internal zip should light up.

if it's internal, it actually can be scsi... but probably isn't.

the 2000xl has an internal 50 pin scsi spot on the main board.

yeah, i was actually thinking about that earlier if it could be scsi... thanks for clearing that up. i just went by what the device would say...
