scrolling problem (cursor wont go to certain areas)

I have a problem with scrolling. Heres what happens. Ill be on the main page (sequencing) and I am not able to scroll to the bit where bar record length is changed (assuming one is meant to be able to scroll to this part of the screen). The direction arrows are not faulty as they all work by moving the cursor to other areas, just not some, with the bar bit being one of them. Other areas im not able to navigate to are loop (on/off), and others in the song page very stange. Im thinking it might be a software prob.

You should be able to use the arrow keys to go to any field on each screen. I would probably start by reloading the os v1.14 for the MPC if you suspect it is the operating system. you can get the dowload at www.akaipro.com

thanks for the idea. I now think the right directional button is not working. Any idea how id fix this?
