Samples are low

Problem with my 2K,

I created a program and the samples are coming out of the outputs very low when I play them with the pads. When I preview the sample in the trim window with the pads or the "play:x" the level is fine. My other program sounds fine but the bitrate is (ST) 16 bit/44.1 kHz on the one that sounds good and the low one is (Mono) 12 bit/22.5 kHz.

I thought 12 bit/22.5 kHz wasn't supposed to work in the 2k? I think that may be the problem or is it something else, other than that the programs are set up the same way (as far as I can tell). If it being 22.5 kHz is the problem why does it play fine in the trim window

Yea, yeah haha. I thought about that and tried full level just to be sure. Also my other programs have no problems with playback levels. Thanks for the check though Fung, I know it is something simple I am overlooking.
I am thinking about trying to resample the samples (in Peak) to make them 16 bit/44.1 kHz just to be sure. Anything else I could be overlooking?

GOT IT!
Somehow the decay is reversed in the program, so the 100 end decay plays the full sample and 0 decay plays the tail of the sample like the attack is supposed to. I guess the attack and decay have switched responsibilities in my machine? Weird, but it works ha-ha. Thanks

That's what I thought but the display says "end", when I switch it to "start" I can't hear the sample at all, no matter the setting 0-100. I think its a bug in the .pgm maker I used?
From what I have experienced the 2k Classic isn't really Mac OSX 10.4.11 friendly, that's why I am scared of Leopard's compatibility issues.

Also, if my MPC gets "warmed" up (on for 30+ minutes), if I shut it off and and try to boot it up from the floppy (my only option right now) it won't. I have to let it "cool off" for it to boot again (maybe 15 minutes). Anyone else experience this in their 2k Classic?

Okay, just wanted to confirm before I made my next move. I can't afford to upgrade to the CF drive so I guess a new floppy drive and external zip is my next purchase.
