Cant access CD-RW files!!

I have been able to transfer sound files off a CD-R disc onto my mpc. I recently tried to use a CD-RW disc to transfer files and now i get an message saying "SCSI is not ready!" im not sure why this is, please help!!!

What format is the disc? What SCSI ID # is your ext drive on? Did the ext SCSI drive previously work?
Have you used CDRW's in this SCSI drive before with your ? ? ? ? machine?

If you want an answer then be specific in your statement and problem.

and last but not least: Is there a terminator at the end of your scsi chain?
