directional button not working (can b fixed or replaced?)

The right directional button is not working on my mpc. I can still navigate around but just not to parts of the screen that require pressing of the right arrow button (cant change bar record length which is something i made need to do soon). so any idea how id fix this or replace a broken part, though from the outside it doesnt look broken.

You may have a bad tact switch under the bottun. My MPC 3000 had the same problem. I had to press some button real hard for them to work. Mouser has the 3000 tact switches. Check the forum someone may know which tact switches are the right ones for your MPC.

You need the tact switch with 4 legs: SKHHAMA010
