MPC2000xl repair center address?

I purchased a MPC2000xl from a friend and he sold it to me telling me that I would have to get the pads repaired because they were unresponsive. I contacted Akai twice via e-mail and have yet to recieve a response.

I was wondering if anyone could please share with me the address to the repair center that Akai uses to repair MPC's. If you can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

You can buy and replace the pad sensors easily, but if you really want a good tech go to bruce at www.forat.com.

Save your money and open it up yourself and check to see if the pads ribbon cable is inserted correctly.
