Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Can anyone tell me how to dump a beat from my MPC 2000 to my computer software (Nuendo 3) so that each track from the MPC will end up on it's own channel in the computer software? I would like to EQ my kick, snare, hi hat, etc seperately in their own tracks in the computer.

No. I am just putting together my in-home studio. I didn't know if I had to possibly solo the tracks and record them one at a time, or what other equipment i need.

O.K. So if I were to dump them one at a time, would each track have to be stereo, or are any of them mono?

And what is this 8 track board?

If you sampled mono, track mono. If you sampled stereo, track in stereo. The 8-outs board is an optional board that can be installed in your MPC. It allows you to send individual sounds to individual outs for easier mixing/faster tracking.
