2000 problems in sequence mode !!

2000 problems in sequence mode !! when im recrding programs in seq mode pads keep revertin to previous ?? seems to have a mind of its own !! can anyone help ?? im using ext h drive ,.,., is it to do with the auto loadin ? if i cant sort this out im goin back to my drum kit .,.,.,.,cheers bowser

to be a bit more specific.,., the main problem is that i can put track 1 down (in seq mode) but when i try to put another track ,as soon as i hit record its triggering samples i havent even chosen .it triggers on every beat .im still learning to use the mp and im strugglin with this ..,.,. cheers ,.,., not sure how to be more english though ,,.,.i,ll work on that if i really have to.,,,,.
