MPC 2000 sound memory 0 mb

hello,
i just got my mpc 2000. when i open the sample menu (shift 4) the time says ---.-- sec. when i press open window, the sound memory opens and says 0 mb installed. there should be 2 mb on it. can you please help me?

Clen the RAM sticks inside your MPC with isopropyl.

ok thanks for the tip! i looked inside it, there are 2 16 mb ram sticks. i will get isoprpyl the next days. could it also be that the ram slot is broken?
