Hey guys,
Im having a problem with my MPC 2000XL MCD (Blue one).

After i record a midi sequence into the mpc (for playing a MIDI instrument) and then press play to hear the sequence, MOST of the times one or two of the notes i have playyed will just keep on playing!! Ie: the note wont stop. Its like im holding down that note, but i didnt record it like that.. :x

Please somebody tell me this is a common problem which can be fixed with an OS update or something, please.. been having to many music related dramas lately and now this.. :(

Appreciate it.

yeah, I had the same issues. Normally I would use some sound of my triton, play it/record it. Then when playing it back, one note would just keep going. Pressing the "locate" button on my triton helps out. Not really sure why it happens, so can`t give you any other help than saying it also happens to me..

Chromek - Its happening to ANY midi source i sequence. Logic Plugins, Roland XV-5080, any midi instrument..

Villa101 - Which model MPC do you own? Is it one of the newer Blue MCD versions perhaps?? Thats good to hear that its not just me, but seriously, i cant work like this, it happens all the time. How often does it happen with you? Which OS are you on?? Say if the sequence is playing, and it didnt do it the first time, then the second time the sequence cycles through, something will catch a note and just keep a note playing on and on.. I want to make some music but i cant.. :(
