mpc 2000 floppy disk

Is there a certain kind of floppy disk that will work with the classic? Brand, format etc. I know sampling can only be 16-bit 44.1 kHz stereo is there a certain bit for my drums to be on a disk or can i just put any kind of drums?

Any floppy disk will work. You would want to format the disk in the MPC so its adjusted to the MPC settings.


And I would highly suggest using a Zip drive for saving work, a floppy disk would be a waste.

These dudes have modified a card reader through the MPC SCSI port for Card Reader storage which will allow you to do more then even a Zip.
