someone help me...this is degrading

ok so i just got an MPC.
it's my first piece of equipment
besides bullshit computer programs
and a dr sample.

first off i had a hard time getting a start up disk.
now i need a disk to load the drums????
if someone can clarify this i would apprieciate it and/or
id someone can send me the disk via, email or something?

i just wannna make beats, this is becoming sad...
my ebay seller sucks but i got the MPC2000 w/ 32mg for $530.00
so....

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by this, but you know that the MPC is a "sampler", right? Meaning it has no internal sounds. You have to "sample" your own by recording into the MPC or importing .wav files (or .snd) into it via floppy disk/Zip disk.

wow u gotta good deal. what i did when i FIRST got my mpc was...

let me warn you, this took a long long time to do....

i used to make beats on the computer for years and in that time frame i collected thousands of drums and sounds on my computer. at the time i got my mpc, thats all i had. and a few floppy disks. i took my floppies to my computer loaded them up with files and took them to my mpc and used them directly off my floppies. floppies dont hold SHII! they hold such a small amount of sounds, it took me forever to keep going back and forth from computer to mp to get the drums and sounds i wanted. but thats what i did. then i started sampling drums sounds and started saving them as programs on the mpc so i wouldnt have to keep goin back. i suggest gettin you an external harddrive, cd drive or zip drive so you can hold much more then just using the floppies. and with the cd drive you can buy sample cd's that come with hundreds of sounds on them.
