OK.
So heres the deal.
I recently got the mpc 2000xl. It came with 6 zip cards... But i cannot get sounds onto them.
They either dont work with the computer, or dont work with the mpc.
Ive tried both windows XP and Vista.
So baciacaly im trying to get some drums from the computer to the mpc and when i put the sounds on the computer the mpc will say "disk failure". When I format it on the pc it does the same thing (without the sounds). when i format it on the mpc the computer wont sense it being there...
I know the mpc works fine and all because the guy was nice enough to gove me like 50 drum samples on 1 zip. (but that zip does not work with the computer.) ive heard that its a problem with the FAT32 or somthing, or that i need an older computer model (windows 95,98 ect) to fix it...
can anyone help???
P.S. im using the "Iomega Zip 100 Portable USB Drive" to use the zips with my computer
