Somebody is selling their mpc for $150 so I want to ask you guys if this was a good deal because it seems like it.

This is what he posted:

"the rotary jogwheel needs to be repaired.u can buy that from mpcstuff.com for 28 dollars however the machine does work but no 8 outs and the only way your gonna make beats is if u repair the rotary jog wheel.and i have no time to repair it so im selling it for cheap. u cant find the mpc 2000 this cheap anywhere else.the pads are in good condition...i made a couple bangers off this.ill throw in the floppy disks with all my drums also. but yeah dont hit me up askin if it works..it works but the data wheel/jog rotary needs to be fixed.. thanks"

Is it easy to replace? And what are the 8 outs?

i don't know if the data wheel is easy to repair, oyu got to ask this to a repairman that works with this kind of instruments (akai samplers)
the 8 outputs is an additional board that got 8 jack outputs and (if i'm not wrong) digital output

really you can get a fully working one for 300

just gotta decide do ya want to make beats or be a service tech

only way i would buy one like that is to have parts for my current one

ask him to take pictures of the screen while powered on ( replacement screen alone is 300 bucks when even find one)

i got mine for 296 shipping included getting a 2kxl or a 3000 next

ebay's new buyer protection gives more peace of mind on these used electronics purchases now

that's the 2kxl going for 500

this member in the forum will sell his 2000 classic for just under 300

I was gonna buy from him last week but then caught a "buy now" on ebay before he had a chance to send me a demo video/pics of the screen

hit him up

Thats a good deal. 178 for a 2k is great. If the screen is broken thats another 300 dollars but since you'd get it for 150, it wouldn't hurt as much.

I got my 2k for 330 and then sold it for 380 so 150 is amazing.
