MBOX MINI W/ UNO DEVICE & MPC2000 HELP PLEASE!!!

So I'm brand new to this forum, and have heard good things about the help found on it.

My problem is this:

I have an MBox Mini, an M-Audio Uno Device, and an MPC2000

I have my UNO plugged into my MPC2000 MIDI IN (PORT) 1
I hit SHFT 9 on my mpc, set my midi sync to MODE: MIDI CLOCK
I open up my pro tools and open up midi beat clock and have the box that says M-AUDIO UNO DEVICE checked and hit Okay.

I hit play in pro tools and my mpc plays back just like it should. But when I open up a track to try and record it out track by track, I get no signal in my pro tools?

How can I fix this!?

Come on mane! This is a dead horse. Research, research, research. How/why did you buy all of that and not know MIDI doesn't contain audio? For real though, you are not the first but .... Nevermind.

I swore up and down that was the problem. Guess I better not second guess my self
