variation slider woes, yes i searched ;)

im trying to find more information on the variation slider, i'd like to replace my broken one of course.

anyway, does anyone know the part number (for the 2kxl) or a listing at somewhere like mouser/digikey, i did search but all i found was where to get it, ie. mpcstuff or cimple (both really expensive options to sweden). I'm sure this part cant be exclusive to them?

If its out of production perhaps someone could suggest a compatable replacement, with part number etc.

Id rather buy a few at a parts store since then im not paying silly money for shiping and silly money on faders. For example through searching the forums i was able to find and locate an exact jogwheel for $3 (so i bought a couple) but i cant find anything useful on the slider.

Someone here must know the answer to this...if not then im fukt

I had the same question, but I could not find the answer, so I ordered it from MPCstuff.com. It was not cheap for the pot like this, 15 dollars plus shipping and handling.

Anyway I replaced the fader and now it works fine. (I found out that the pot for volume has to be replaced too, the left channel is not working )

Anyway, I took some photos during repair. I hope this helps. I want to know the order number for jameco, mouser or digikey.
