How to burn Akai format cd for mpc 2000xl?

Does anyone know how to make a cd in akai format that my mpc can read from my scsi cdrom drive hooked to the back of the 2000xl? I read something about a iso file but it didnt explain much..

also keep in mind to rename the files correctly before burning them as iso 9660 level-1. otherwise they will be automatically renamed and the mpc won´t find the files (of course you could search manually for every single file, but that´s not the best solution obviously)

i also got a problem burning cd-roms for my 2kxl....


maybe its because so far i have used only cheap cd-r´s...

what kind (brand) of cd-r´s should i use to get them work...properly
or what ya´ll know about types of cd-r discs that don´t go well with an xl...

the cd-rom drive is ok i´ve tested it with a akai sample cd

ps: i know about the settings for the standart iso cd-rom
