I just got my mpc 2000 and it says "Insert MPC2000 Disc" What do I do?

I think you need to boot it with a copy of the OS..but I'm not sure cause I have the XL, so can someone with the classic correct me

you have to download the mpc os which you can find on the net, probably the akai website then you have to put it on a floppy disk
