more SCSI rubbish!!

aiight yo, this is the **** last time i'm posting shit on SCSI.

I've got a PC. I've got an MPC2KXL. I want to link them, so I can drag and drop files from my PC, onto the SCSI card, and ultimately through to my MPC.
I want to be able to store all my files from my MPC on my PC, so essentially i'm **** for making beats WITHOUT my PC.

So do I need: 1. A SCSI PCI card, with an external 50 pin connector
2. A 50 pin male to male SCSI cable?????

Are there any other electronical specs that I need to know? All i want to do is get the specs I need, then search on trade me for them

You need a scsi card in your pc and an internal SCSI ZIP driver or FLASH card reader (I repeat SCSI and internal) then you can connect your pc to your mpc and the internal scsi drive of your MPC will show up as an external device on your pc. YOu can then drag and drop files from your PC onto the INTERNAL SCSI (Yes I repeat myself) device of your MPC. A quicker and less cumbersome solution is to get a zip drive for your pc then you can exchange data between the MPC and the PC via ZIP drives.

MPC's were not designed to be connected to PC's by SCSI. There are many side effects that had been explained elsewhere.

Your best option, like pt3r mentioned, is to get removable drives for each the MPC and PC to transfer.
