Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

alright im thinking about purchasing a korg tr 61 keyboard for 300 and i already own a mpc 2000xl now i was wondering should i purchase the korg? Im looking to use the korg to sync with the mpc and it seems to be hard for me to get my older keyboard(roland xp-10)to sync with the mpc and i dont wanna be stuck with the same problems any suggestions

An older keyboard may present problems when trying to sync devices, but you should be good to go with a 2KXL and a Triton. Pretty modern machines with very good midi implementation.

If they are good enough to purchase in their own right individually, you can get them working together.

You'd think that the MPC/ Triton combination was a tried a tested one, as is the MPC/ Motif combo.

Testing the two together as suggested by Lampdog is a great idea if possible, but sometimes sync can be fiddly and time consuming to set up correctly in the first instance. One the initial settings have been stored sync can be set up in a matter of seconds.
