Whats wrong?

I just posted a topic 2 days ago about my mpc crashing in the middle of making a beat. Today was the first day I've used it since, and it wouldn't load any of my disks. Anyone have any suggestions as to what i should do?

maby your disks are corrupt. Try to save somthing to a new disk, then try to load it, if this works than you disks are f'd.

Once, out of the blue, my mpc wouldn't read my disks. I grabbed a disk drive cleaner, cleaned my drive and had no problems since.

What's the status homie? Did the problem occur again, did you fix it? Keep me posted doggy.

Aight its wierd... It's been workin fine as far as not crashing, but it wouldn't load any of my sound disks as a whole program, I can only load one sound at a time. So I really dont know, could someone tell me how disks get corrupted, because mine do nothing but sit in a neat pile.

Where do they sit? Disks are sensitive to static electricity, do NOT place them on top of speakers (the woofers inside have magnets), TV's (speakers inside the tv have magnets and the internal parts of the tv create static), or near a radiator (unless you want to melt them), or store them in direct sunlight. Is any of this applying to you and where your disks sit?
