Hello folk,
I have created some decent sounding beats with my MPC 2kxl and I'm well pleased so far with my progress. Complex machines, these. I'd like to figure out how to make my drum beats sound less robotic and a bit more human. I feel like if I vary the velocities on the hats, maybe alter the timing a touch, I could do some really cool stuff. The problem is, I've tried a few things and everything I'm doing is both terribly tedious and sounding like sheee-ot. Any tips?
