Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By trailz516 Mon May 10, 2010 12:25 am
I love the feel of the pads on my 2000xl and was thinking of buying new ones from mpcstuff just to change the color. The new pads i bought from mpcstuff for my 1k are much harder then id like. Can someone with the mpcstuff pads give they're input?

I asked this same thing a couple weeks ago and nobody could find the time in their busy schedule to offer any response.

well some say the black pads are softer from what I read around here. maybe you should go in the mpc 2500 section or the 5000 section and look around at the threads because both those units people posted pics of their machines with red pads. send them a PM.

i just got the orange and i think there a tiny bit more spongey. i had the blue pads in before these for a couple days and they felt almost like stock.maybe a little stiffer.
im sure my brain is tricking me into thinking there different because they look different

If you did a search you would have gotten your answer quicker since this question has been brought up numorous times about the pads.

I actually did do a search and did not find a specific thread about how the MPCStuff pads feel. Those two threads you just referenced also do not mention MPCStuff pads specifically either. The 2nd thread only talks about vstservice pads and the 1st thread you posted doesn't specify.
