Effects on Tracks

You can assign effects, on the MPC 1000, to the pads. However, if you record midi performance data to a “track” can you assign effects to that track. My basic question is, can you assign effects to tracks. The manual doesn’t make it clear.

this area is for MPC2000xl, MPC2000. not sure about the 1000 but you assign the effects send to the pad. Any sounds triggered by that pad will be routed thru the internal effects. so it doesnt actually you can have the same sounds on 3 pads. . 1 dry, one effected by M1, one effected by M2.
