Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I am having issue with the following

I cut-up a sample on my MPC2000 XL but when i try to load a kit to the pad I keep lost the sample

what is the best way too be able too

put my sample on my machine and load the kit i need so i can build the track i attempting to make

When chopping that sample of your you put it on dank A....
try to put your drums on the other banks so you dont lose your samples in bank A.

This is done when you press load
and before pressing DO IT press the Bank B button and then the pad you want it to go....
I dont remember the exact commands I hope you get what I mean

Do it in any order...
but when you load your kicks snares etc put them on the second third or forth band
and leave the first bank for your chops.

If you first chop
then when you load put loaded stuff on the other three banks.

Oh and dont forget the manual is your tutor.
If you get a read through it all these will seem stupidly easy.
Trust me and all the manual manufacturers :P

Umm maybe you are working with a few programs without realizing. If so you need to figure out assigning your prgms to drums 1-4 and assigning your tracks to appropriate drum programs .
