just want to pass on the info, i'm not associated iwth this but i thoguht somone might be interested:
went to the guitar center in downtown bk(the one in atlantic terminal), and they got 3 used mpc2kxl's for sale
one for 400, one for 429 and one for i think 529
the 529, looks liek the 529 got the 8 output expander...
seems pretty good priced, also got a used 500 for 400 and an ASR-X...
if you're not sure u want a 2kxl, and want to try it out, migght as well, GC's got a return policy

dont know why there's so many MPC2kxl for sale over there...maybe people are jumpin on the 2500's and the like instead?
I always try to check out GC's they usually got used items for a real cheap price...
