using guitar with mpc

Hello, can you MPC 2000xl user tell me how would I record live guitar on my tracks, whats the best way, would I sample the guitar or should I just play over in in my recording software

xl cant record and playback at sametime (to best of my knowledge - if it can lemme know lol)

so if u playing gtr over beats from xl thats a downer - personally i run logic audio and mpc sync'd coz u can jam for ages more than 32 mb ram allows and its all in time

u could always play the gtr back into the xl from comp / resample by cutting up parts u want to exaclty on the beat

otherwise take a line out of ur amp or mic it up and plug into input of xl.
