Does anyone have any suggestions on how or why when I am attempting to sample on a resample page, the machine freezes. Do you think that this is a glitch in my MPC200xl that I have to get serviced from AKAI, or am I doing something wrong. I have enough memory on my MPC and haven't programmed anything on my machine. I am a newbie, just starting to create and not sure what to do... Any suggestions?

Don't worry, your machine ain't freezing. It just takes an enormous amount of time to re-sample. If you have a large sound or a loop it's going to take some time. It took me about ten seconds to re-sample one hihat..
Try it with a single drum hit to make sure it works.
