So I have two Dave Smith synths (MoPho keyboard and Tetra) and I'm using the MPC 2000XL as a center "hub" to sequence, route midi, etc.
I've noticed that some of the parameters are not going through. These two synths operate through NRPN, so even though it's possible to switch the operation of these synths to CC, nothing really changes. Those parameters still don't go through. So I'm assuming that the transmission of these parameters is NRPN exclusive or something like that.
EDIT: After this, I went through the Dave Smith manual PDF's and my assumption seems to be correct:
I have to admit, this NRPN stuff is a little over my head, so I'm not even sure if it's a term that can be used in the same context as CC's.
Is the MPC 2000XL capable of "transmitting" NRPN through it's MIDI i/o?

Note: NRPNs are the preferred method of parameter transmission, since they cover the complete range of all parameters, while CCs only handle the main parameters.
