Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

How do you get Windows XP to read a MPC formated Zip Disk? My PC wont read the disk and it just wants to format it. Is there any way that the PC which is NTFS can read the MPC Fat32 format? I can't do a reformat my PC right now so that is not an option.

Thanks

what I had to do was format it in xp then save my sequence from the mp on that disk. the mp doesn't have to format any disk to save on to it. It will read it as a pc formatted disk but will load all the same. I use this set up to back up files on my cpu.

Don't bother formatting disks in the MPC. I formatted my zip disks under the FAT16 in WinXP (which is NTFS). My PC and MPC can now read the disks. Also, keep the file names less/equal to 8 characters.
