So far the cables are winnin. the mfc 42 manual says that theres a MPC out, but it implies a single out. what gives? i don see any single out there. and there's a mono in on the MFC. man i'm coonfused. since it's my first day wit this MFC, can i get a little help?

i'm tryin to send samples from my mpc through the mfc.

If you've got the 8 out board, make sure you assign your samples to the proper outs. Then run 1/4" cables from there to the 1/4" inputs of the mfc. make sure you plug your headphones into the mfc and not the mpc. I know this is common sense, but i do lots of stupid things. If you don't have the 8 out board, just run the cables of the main outs on your mpc into the main inputs of the mfc. Again, i realize this is common sense, but hope it helps.

Maybe be a little more descriptive on how you've got everything hooked up and running :)
